Mini Biography:
Namitha Kapoor was born in the Punjabi language family in Surat, Gujarat, India on May 10th , 1981. She is the daughter of this family, which consists of her father, a businessman while he rmother is housewife. She graduated in English Literature. They are used to teach swimming to children and grew up in Bombay.

She first came into limelight after being crowned Miss Surat in 1998. She continued to participate in the Miss India 2001 election and finished fourth runner-up, while Celina Jaitley was crowned Miss India during this event.

This publicity opened doors for her and she did several TV commercials like Himani cream & hand soap, Arun Ice Cream, Manikchand Gutka and Nile herbal shampoo.

Directed Siddiqui January acquainted with tinsel screen in a movie, Malayalam, Namitha and then acted in several Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and English movies. In the first two Telugu movies went under the name Bhairavi. She reached fame after the release of "Engal Anna", in which she played opposite Vijayakanth. She is also known as item girl in regional films, and often appeared in magazine covers Tamil. It became even more popular after her dance number 'Arjuna Arjuna.

She is trained in karate, loves dancing, movies, swimming and playing badminton in her spare time to develop and physically. She likes novels, including by Sidney Sheldon and comics. It takes the Gadget Guru.
