BIOGRAPHY:
Mamta Mohandas is a Malayalam actress and Indian playback singer. She has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam movies.
BASICS:
Mamta Mohandas was born in Bahrain on November 14th , 1985. Her schooling was in Indian School, Bahrain and later graduated from Mount Carmel, Bangalore. She has trained in Hindustani and Carnatic music. Mamta has tried to modeling for a while. She walked the ramp Mysore maharaja and Raymonds. She has also done some print ads for IBM and Kalyan Kendra.
Mamta own a Honda CBR 1000RR motorcycle and loves speed and racing on public roads.
She landed in a controversy when it was associated with co-stars Suresh Gopi in Lanka.
CAREER:
Mamta Mohandas began working in the movie Hariharans Malyalam Movie Mayookham in 2005. This movie is a failure, but Mamta was noticed by all, the point of playing and then appeared in a supporting role in the pipeline.
She acted Madhu chandralekha and Adhbutam Lanka. And then she done a Tamil film opposite Vishal Reddy Sivapathigaram.
Her debut song in the movie Rakhee and She got a Filmfare for Best Playback Singer (2007) in Telugu. In the Kollywood she sang a title song for Kaalai. This is a supportive role in Yamadonga directed by SS Rajamouli, which proved a great success. She also sang some songs for this film.
2009 will be available in Malayalam films as a passenger, John Angelos and Musafir.
